Your chao can also wear hats! These hats are very expensive (the cheapest one is 2000 rings), but they can be very entertaining to see on your chao. The only way to get these hats off is to jump on or throw them. I've also seen people saying that your chao will automatically take the hats off at a certain point, but I've yet to see any of mine do it. Your chao will also lose its hat after it reincarnates, so it's strongly recommended to take the hat off before they do, otherwise there go your efforts to get up all the rings for said hat.
