When a chao reaches 5 years old (which is 15 hours), then usually it will die. If it goes into a grey cocoon, then it's gone forever. If it goes into a pink cocoon, then it will be reborn as a child. This is called reincarnating. Reincarnating is when a chao lives it life and then is reborn as a baby. The four digits in the stats are set to half of what they were before, It will still love the same characters that it loved, and its alignment will be the same. You must reincarnate your chao twice in order to raise it into a Chaos Chao.
