A few months ago, we hinted at Applications arising for Board Moderators. Unfortunately that got delayed due to a series of unfortunate events (no, I'm not talking about Lemony Snickets). Well, the idea just randomly crossed my mind again so I think that it couldn't hurt to go ahead and start them.

You must also have at least 500 posts for us to consider you, so we know that we can play it safe instead of by ear. You also need to type correctly, as I am now, to show maturity, like the other Staff Members also show. You may only submit one Application, and it will either get accepted or denied. You may also only pick one board to moderate, and we will decide if that's a good idea or not.

First, I want to say this: Don't preach to me about the situation, it was a painful day and that's the truth of it.

The Heroes that died for us eight years ago today did not have to. It was their job to defend what they love, and most of what they love are things or people that they don't even know or don't even know existed. A lot of lives were lost that day, and a lot of families were torn apart then. Most of us walked away from this incident without losing anything. But what about those who didn't make it? Some of us might feel guilty simply for being alive after such a tragedy. It's one of those things that makes you value your life. Humanity was once a peaceful race, and it's a shame what most of us have become. But God does reward the ones of us that give Him our hopes and dreams. In return we get special gifts, or just happiness itself. All of these rich people who matter so much to everyone don't mean much to Him. To Him, the people who cherish His ways and His intentions are the ones that He will embrace. Power does a lot to someone, and He's not interested in someone who shuns Him. You need to embrace Him before you can embrace anybody else.

For those of you who haven't seen my profile, yes, I am a Christian, and I'm proud of it (again, don't preach to anyone because you don't know anything about them or their Faith).

Some people would question their Faith simply because of 9/11, but that wasn't His fault. They weren't supposed to die. Now, why He didn't save them is unknown to everyone. There are a lot of us that wish that there was someone we didn't lose, someone who could have improved our lives a lot if they were still alive. I'm sure He has a purpose, though.

There are soldiers that stand ready when the wolf growls at the door (Toby Keith). They sacrifice everything they have for all of us, regardless of the price that they have to pay for it.

America is a free place. We have to fight to keep it that way, because even if we are better than that, there are other people that aren't. If nothing else, remember this day in Honor of those who lost their lives, and for the families who were torn apart. There are a lot of sad people out there today.

Notice anything different about the forums? They've been massively re-arranged, and I've even added in a few new boards and categories, but I also removed some boards and categories as well. This will be the beginning of UCG's transition from Chao Site to Gaming Site. Hopefully I'll get to work soon on the slew of new features that I have planned for this place. Your suggestions for more changes are still welcomed.
