This morning I received an email from my webhost (Lunar Pages) regarding complaints sent to them about UCG. Someone reported us for spamming, and Lunar Pages threatened to suspend or even terminate my account, which means no more UCG. Frankly that upset me, because I give these people money and do my best to give the members here some special features, and new things that they may like. However, someone decided they weren't pleased with our mass emails, which we've only sent around one every five months or so, while users here constantly spam and disrespect the web site while we take it easy on them. No more. From this point on, if you spam, you get a warning. After that, you're banned. The email mentioned a 'zero tolerance for spam,' and so we will have a zero tolerance of our own. One member has already been banned this morning. We're not kidding around any longer.

As a result of the email and complaint, we have decided to cancel the release of any new features. Anything new added will simply be for security purposes, and so people can't report us for something like this again. There will be no more mass emails; it's the only way we can protect against UCG being deleted.

The only thing that will continue is the 2,000 member celebration, and registration has been disabled so that we may prepare for it. In the mean time, we hope you will enjoy what you already have at UCG, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

For a fee of 200 rings, you may actually CLONE your chao! A carbon copy is made and everything is the same. You must have an empty chao slot and be able to afford it, however, and you may only clone YOUR chao, not someone else's. This is useful for when someone wants your chao, but you only had one of it. Solution? Make an exact copy!

Yes, you can now TRADE chao! Upon viewing of the chao page, you have the 'Trading Center' option. Once you click on it, you will see two links: one to view offers made to you by other users, and one to view offers you've made to other users.

To trade, first click on the Trading Center option on the chao homepage. Then, click the 'here' link to create a new offer. Once done, you will be asked to select which chao you would like to trade, and then you will be asked who to trade to. Type the USERNAME of the user you would like to trade with, and a PM will be sent to them about it. They may accept or deny the request. If they accept it, they will give you a chao in return. If they deny it, nothing happens. All requests are automatically denied after three days.

ChaoBotXL is now more life-like than ever. Once every two days, ChaoBotXL buys a random item from one of the shops, actually PAYS for it, leaves a message about it on your profile, and then he changes his profile to a random image he bought, be it an avatar, signature, or custom star, it works! This took me a good hour to do, because of all the thinking involved.

On another note, I'll probably be getting around to the gallery and PM Savebox either this weekend or later in the week.
